I was reading some headlines about the media onslaught of Palin’s character and came across an article that discusses CNN anchor Campbell Brown’s line of questioning about Palin’s experience.
“The interview was totally fair,” Brown said. “I was trying to get an answer. I was persistent, but I was respectful. That’s my job. Experience is a legitimate issue when John McCain raises it about Obama, and it’s also legitimate for us to raise it about Palin.”
Two things I can point out about this statement:
1. The MSM would NOT question Obama or his people about his lack of experience, so McCain’s campaign had to do it.
2. The “them versus us” aspect of the quote leads one to believe that the media is admitting that it’s Obama’s surrogate in this (and many other) cases.
